Wednesday, December 30, 2015

Hey Curvies! We are about to bid 2015 goodbye but before that I would like to thank each one of you for your unending support love for me and my blog. It has been a wonderful year for Curveella and I'm beyond excited and ready for 2016! Claiming a year full opportunities and blessings.

Do you guys wear stripes and dots for new year? I don't know if it's only an asian/filipino tradition to wear stripes or polka dots every new year but yeah I grew up believing on that, so for the last post of the year and as we welcome the new year. I am featuring this black & white stripes sweater dress. Y'all know how much I love my stripes and trench cardigan so here it is again.  I wish you all a wonderful New Year!

christmas day girly casual outfit

Monday, December 28, 2015

Hey Curvies! Happy Holidays! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I'm pretty sure that we all are Christmas hangover still, I feel like it went by so fast that I didn't even feel the Christmas spirit like the past years. Anyway I just wanted to come by real quick to share my Christmas day outfit.

Far from your typical festive colored outfit, I know. It has a cutie tutu tho.lol. I went for a fun casual and neutral look. It's my all neutral er thing outfit. A totally simple and comfy clothing with a hint of girliness from the uber cute tutu attached to the sweater.

gift a set of malesh activewear

Monday, December 21, 2015

Hey Curvies! I feel like I've shared a fair amount of holiday looks to inspire your outfit, so with so  much excitement I'll talk about another side of Curveella that I don't often blog about. It's the plus size activewear, I personally like to workout in style, it motivates me to get my ass of the couch and workout LOL and getting a new set of stylish activewear is even better. I have to honest though the last time I went to the gym was last October I know I've been slacking a lot.

Christmas/Holidays is the best time to buy activewear clothing. It's the perfect gift to give to anyone, it's universal, everyone uses it and who doesn't want to receive a new pair or perhaps a set of new gym wear. Like what I said earlier new set of activewear motivates everyone. So make sure to hook up your gymddict friend or family a new set of Malesh Activewear.

Malesh Activewear has always been my favorite plus size activewear brand. I swear to you their active leggings/pants are the bomb! Thick, comfy, high quality I can go on and on with how much I love their pants I mean get a pair of your own and you'll surely thank me. I live in them, I wear it everywhere and washed it a million times and it still looks and feels the same way when I first wore it.

Great news Curvies! The awesome quality pants that I'm raving about, now comes in prints and more colors. Not only that, Malesh Activewear reinvented the Blossom Tank Top and made it with the same rad material as of the pants.Yass!

I like to go a size down for leggings/pants since I like it hugging and also because I'm a shortie, As per the top I usually go a size up to make more room. Refer to Malesh Activewear size chart or email them for an accurate sizing and to get the best of this brand.

Christmas red midi circle skirt ~ KIYONNA

Friday, December 18, 2015

Hey Curvies! We're 6 days away from the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! Yey! Christmas/Holiday parties are happenin' here and there. If you're still undecided with you Christmas outfit, you came to the right place. It's not too late to get your online orders in. Check off  all the women in your life and your own christmas outfit off your list. Shop Kiyonna's full range clothing collection. Y'all know that I genuinely swear by them, Kiyonna is one brand that I'll never get tired of recommending to all of you plus size women.

Today's Holiday look features a piece from Kiyonna's limited edition collection the Red Shimmer Circle Skirt. As you can see this skirt is stunning as it is but for some reason my lighting and camera are seriously not doing any justice on how this gorgeous skirt looks in person. This midi circle skirt features an elegant floral lace and light shimmer details and it doesn't look as bright red as of the photos. It has a flattering waist band and it fits really comfortable. One thing to watch for is the sizing, from my own personal opinion I would recommend for you to go a size down when ordering this skirt. It's made with a stretchy waist band that will surely hug your belly area. You can always refer to Kiyonna's customer representative to get an accurate sizing. Happy Holidays!

Fringe Friday ~ Torrid Insider Collection

Friday, December 4, 2015

Hey Curvies! Happy Fringe Friday! Today's blog post is all about the this Fringe Midi Skirt from Torrid Insider Collection. If you haven't seen my previous blog post, you can read it here. I talked about an outfit featuring a piece from the same collection. Basically Torrid curated a special limited edition collection for us plus size fashion addicts.

Let's get into the fringe. I was stunned when I first saw this skirt. It's black but it really makes a bold statement, so I immediately thought of street style. Basics paired with a statement is my jam on this look. A simple white tee with rose gold accessories are all I used to achieve the look. What do you guys think? Did everything worked out well? I also made another look below, a totally different style from this. This Fringe Midi Skirt is definitely plus size approved! You can style this endlessly and it is very much flattering.

Honestly I'm not really sure about this second style that I did for this fringe skirt. I guess it didn't came out the way that I wanted it to be. The lighting is bad and I'm just not feeling the look. This kind of style is not really my cup of tea, but I thought of posting it anyway. It might not be for me but I'm pretty sure someone, somewhere out there would love to wear this. At least I hope so! LOL. No kidding aside, I hope you like any of these two different style that I did for this fringe skirt.
