Hey Curvies! How did your Valentine's Day went? I had a great time with my family and an impromptu backyard party with friends. Now that's Valentine's is over we can all chill out and not stress about being single or what to wear and where to go for Valentine's.
So I was browsing through fashion accounts on Instagram and I came Song of Style page. I was looking at her photos for like an hour and I really admire her style. She sometimes go all out but most of the time she's casual chic with her distressed jeans and oversized top and that's where I got today's style inspiration.
I decided to wear my Dad's Lacoste top, a really old top that has been around for more than 15 years I'll say. Lacoste shirts are very much high quality no matter how old it may be, it will still be the same quality from when you first bought it. I was lucky enough that my Dad has collected a lot of lacoste shirts that are now passed on to my brother. Since the top fits me as well, I decided to style it.
I simply folded the sleeves and loose tucked the shirt in and wore my ever so favorite destroyed jeans. I accessorized it with a long tassel necklace to make it a bit feminine and a red hat for a pop of color. I wore two kinds of shoes, a black pointy heels for a little lift and for a chic vibe. Also I hopped into the Birkenstock bandwagon and wore my birks esque sandals for more comfort. Well of course mine is just $7 from payless clearance because I'm just not ready to splurge $100 for an authentic birks.
This makes a perfect " I don't know what to wear " outfit. Get your boyfriends shirt or perhaps your Dad's shirt and magic you have an instant chic outfit.
